“Even though Sarkar Raj bombed, Ramu is quite adamant on continuing with the series. Apparently, Ranbir will play the role of Chickoo (Kay Kay Menon’s son from the original Sarkar) who will now be all grown up. A scene in regards to this put in the final few minutes of Sarkar Raj. Deepika Padukone will play Chickoo’s wife,” says a source.The film has been given the title of Sarkar Raj 3, and apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Supriya Phatak, Aishwarya Rai will also feature.
