Some goons have all the luck. Sanjay Dutt, who plays a Sattarbhai, a goon-turned-recovery agent in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming film EMI is no different. To emphasise his flashy character, the producers got a special diamond encrusted gold bracelet, which says ‘Sattarbhai’. The bracelet alone costs Rs 5 lakh.
Director Saurabh Kabra says, “Sanjay’s character called Sattarbhai is a goon who gets a white-collared job. So he does make a lot of money the right way. But at the end of the day, Sattarbhai is still a goon. To highlight his character we wanted an accessory like a flashy bracelet. In fact, we deliberately got it made from a local jeweller so that it looks a little imperfect.”
