Even as the shooting for the underwater sequences for Blue is going on in the middle of the ocean in Bangkok, Sanjay Dutt has invited all his close friends to join him to party and chill. And to make sure his friends have a whale of a time in the ocean, Dutt has hired a 40-foot long luxury liner where all his pals are housed.When contacted, Sanjay Dutt was embarrassed that we should have got wind of it. He said, “Yeah, it’s true, but who told you about this? All my close friends are here with me. Paresh from Chicago, Matt from Los Angeles and Raja and Pradeep from Mumbai are here. So we’re shooting and having fun too. It’s more for my own happiness than my friends’.”
Apoorva Lakhia, who is with the revelling gang in Bangkok, can’t stop raving. He says, “Sanju Sir is a rock star. You’ve heard right. He has rented a 40-foot long liner with the entire crew on board and for all his friends’ comfort. We all hang out in the middle of the ocean while the cast is shooting in the deep sea. It’s non-stop deep-sea diving, music, snorkeling and barbeque in the middle of the bluest ocean ever. This is the most kickass holiday I’ve ever had.”
Also joining the merry gang of Dutt’s friends is Zayed Khan’s wife Mallika, besides, of course, Manyata who makes the guest list for all of Sanju’s get-togethers in Mumbai or outside. “The friends that I have now are with me for keeps,” says Sanjay.
