Bipasha Basu will be seen sharing the screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in the much awaited Bachna Ae Haseeno. Question Entertainment Editor, Rajeev Masand, caught up with the actor to find out about her forthcoming film and also about her dream role.Question: Tell me how it was working with Ranbir. You are different kinds of actors. Did you discover your acting styles as you went along? You did not even know each other before working in the film together.
Bipasha Basu: Yes I did not know him. I had not even seen Saawariya. I had heard good things about him and I did not even know he would be that tall. I was quite amazed for the first time we did the photo shoot. I looked at him and said, ‘oh you are tall’. That is a good thing because we hardly have tall heroes.
We got talking from the second day onwards. We asked each other a lot of questions and he asked me too many questions. Some of them were extremely embarrassing. But, I guess that was the way we broke the ice. We really got along then.
Question: Tell me one film that you saw recently that made you go 'I wish I was in this film’?
Bipasha Basu: I would love to play Heath Ledger's role in Batman. That was very exciting. I always get attracted to negative roles. It is fascinating as an actor. He was a beautiful man and for him to do that, I think it was fabulous. I guess, that is what acting is all about. It can just take you to another level completely. You can just be anybody. It is an amazing business to be in.
